Common questions
Good questions to ask.
What's the difference between a mortgage broker and a bank?
A bank lends its own money and can only offer its own loan programs. A mortgage broker works with multiple lenders, so we can compare programs and pricing and match you with the best fit for your situation.
Does getting pre-qualified hurt my credit?
No. Our pre-qualification form doesn't pull your credit. If you decide to move forward to a full pre-approval, we'll explain exactly when and how your credit is reviewed.
How much do I need for a down payment?
It depends on the loan program and your situation. Some programs allow low down payments for eligible buyers, and Minnesota has down payment assistance options. We'll walk you through what you qualify for.
Can you help if my situation is complicated?
Yes. Self-employed income, tight closing timelines and unique properties are where experience matters most, and it's where we do our best work.

Not sure which loan fits?
That's what we're here for.
Tell us a little about your plans. No credit pull, no pressure.
